刊名很不好,我认为还不如用《大学生建模通讯》一类。问题在这里——与应用，隐含的意思就是说数学建模可以与实际相分离。其实数学建模应该属于技术性的学科，不要将其看成基础性学科，它本身就是应用。现在的刊名是热衷于竞赛的产物，国内与之相近的杂志是《系统工程理论与实践》。

我倒是感觉这样更能强调“应用”，无论谁一看见了就能知道我们这期刊是和应用有关系的。

构思很好，背景之间搭配也不错，就是整个封面的色调偏冷，可以适当加一点暖色。
波纹中间可以加一滴水，表示数学的应用是无限的。

对于期刊名我认为应该尽量避开“通讯”二字，理由是竞赛组委会有一种刊物叫《大学生数学建模竞赛通讯》，若会刊带通讯，多少有点模仿和附庸之嫌。

yuemuping真是太抬举我了，我自会手画，电脑绘图就不行了，^_^，我想封面可能是用Photoshop,Flash,Java之类作的吧。
